Starting off his sneaker empire with a "2K" colorway.

A signature shoe is reserved for only the best to hit the hardwood — Kobe, LeBron and Jordan are some of the greats that come to mind — and given the talent of Indiana Pacers small forward Paul George, it definitely seems fitting that Nike Basketball would add him to that elite group by unveiling the new Nike PG 1.

Design creds for the PG 1 “2K” go to Swoosh in-house designer Tony Hardman, who took George’s offensive and defensive versatility on the court into consideration during the construction process. Other personal details make their way onto the silhouette as well, notably with George’s digital NBA 2K image on the insoles to show his love for gaming and fish-scale detailing on the upper that signify his fishing hobby. Rounding out the full specs include a light grey upper, iridescent Swoosh, and icy translucent outsole to make this one game-changing debut.

Paul George begins his Nike PG 1 legacy with the “2K” colorway seen here, available soon for $110.
