The New NBA All-Star Game Collection Unveils 2017 Uniforms
The annual NBA All-Star Game is a little over a month away, but we’re already getting a first look at the official collection and in-game uniforms, revealed today in collaboration with adidas.
The Western and Eastern Conferences will both be getting fresh ‘fits to play in for the ceremony, now in it’s 66th year, and the new digs are looking pretty fly. For the West, a color combo of carbon, red, granite color blocking, and gold accents are used in the design process, while the East can expect light granite, blue, and crisp white detailing etched into their gear. The two sets of apparel compare only in the aged metal treatment found across the jersey font outlines and adidas logo, which was purposefully used to tribute citywide French-inspired ironwork in New Orleans — the location of this year’s basketball ceremony.
Each jersey also comes finished with NBA dribbler star badges on the upper backs of the uniform. Also included are gray tear-away warm-up jackets displaying accomplishment badges, in case you wanna know how many times your favorite player appeared in the All-Star game or who won the Kia NBA Most Valuable Player award.
The full NBA All-Star Game collection features track jackets, T-shirts in adult and youth sizes, and headwear, scheduled to launch later this month at the NBA Store on Fifth Avenue and online.
Be sure to watch the 66th NBA All-Star Game on Feb. 19, 2017 — going down in New Orleans.
