Jason Pierre-Paul, Giants Agree on Long-Term Contract Extension
The New York Giants and Jason Pierre-Paul have reportedly come to an agreement on a long-term contract extension, according to Ian Rapoport.
This comes after the Giants put the franchise tag on the defensive end, protecting him from free agency and to help work on a long term contract.
Rapoport later added that the deal spans four years.
Pierre-Paul recorded seven sacks in 12 games last season before needing surgery to repair a sports hernia. But the signing does come in the wake of a horrific fourth of July fireworks accident that took off a good portion of his hand.
