Jaguars Are Planning to Name Doug Marrone as Head Coach

Jaguars plan to name Doug Marrone as permanent head coach.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Jaguars are planning to hire Doug Marrone as their head coach.


This could be the first hire of teams locking for new coaches Marrone actually heads down to Jacksonville. Marrone most recently served as the team’s interim head coach and went 1-1 in two games to close out the season.

Marrone formerly coached the Buffalo Bills for two season where he went 15-17, including leading the Bills to their only winning season since 2004.This could be Marrone’s second NFL head coaching job if it is true.
