Brandon Marshall, Giants Agree to Two-Year Deal
Less than a week after the New York Jets granted his request to be released, wide receiver Brandon Marshall doesn’t even have to move from East Rutherford, New Jersey. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Marshall has agreed to terms on a two-year, $12 million deal to join the New York Giants.
Marshall is the second Jets free agent to join the “other” team in New York, Nose tackle Damon “Snacks” Harrison signed a five-year, $46.25 million deal with the Giants last season. Since being drafted in 2006 by the Denver Broncos, Marshall has played for the Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears and New York Jets. Marshall joins one of the most talented receivers in the game in Odell Beckham Jr. and two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning.
