Iverson is joining a BIG3.

Hall of Fame guard Allen Iverson will join Ice Cube and Roger Mason’s new BIG3 three-on-three professional basketball league as a head coach/player this summer, sources told The Vertical.

Iverson joins eight other dual head coach/players in the league and is scheduled to appear at a news conference in New York on Wednesday to discuss his role and part in the league. He joins Chauncey Billups, Kenyon Martin, Rashard Lewis, Jermaine O’Neal, Stephen Jackson and Jason Williams as other former NBA players who will serve the same role as Iverson.

The teams will travel throughout eight cities and venues this summer. The No. 1 overall pick was enshrined in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame this past September.
