adidas Highlights Spring/Summer 2017 Collection

Sportswear inspired by 1970s Berlin.

With the recent surge in financial and critical success for the adidas brand, it’s easy for some to give that credit to an artist formerly known as Skateboy P, or the artist currently known as YEEZY. Sure, both musicians have definitely helped with the Three Stripes’ rapid come-up in recent years, but you can’t completely knock the sportswear giant’s winning apparel output — the new Highlights collection seen here being a shining example.

The set takes inspiration from ’70s Berlin — the borough of Neukölln to be exact — with a delivery that heavily centers around a soccer aesthetic. Key pieces include joggers, pinstriped soccer jerseys, footwear, and a few tops that include modified tailoring exclusively for the ladies.

Expect the adidas Highlights Spring/Summer 2017 collection to arrive at select retailers in Europe over the next few months. Peep the lookbook below:
